Introduction
These terms and conditions form the basis upon which the supplier, Home of Living Brands (Pty) Ltd (“HOLB”), agrees to provide you services by means of this website. Please make sure that you have read and understood all the terms and conditions before proceeding to use the services contained herein.
Any provision of these terms and conditions which is or becomes unenforceable due to being void, invalid, illegal, unlawful or for any reason deemed just or rational, shall be treated as severable from the remaining provisions, which will remain in full force and effect.
No right or obligation contained herein can be ceded or assigned under this agreement.
Acceptance
The information contained on this website is provided by HOLB for the purposes of advertising and selling Hoover products, and is subject to the following terms and conditions governing the supply of the products purchased by you on the website. By using this facility, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and accept all terms contained herein.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and shall be governed by the courts thereof.

Age Requirement
To place an order, you must be 18 years of age or older. By using this website, you warrant to HOLB that you have the legal capacity to conclude a legally binding contract. -
Accuracy of Information
By using this website, you verify and agree that all information you provide is correct and that it originates from you or from someone acting within your personal authority. Any instructions received by HOLB shall be deemed to be correct and binding, and you indemnify HOLB against all claims, damages, or liability arising from your instructions and orders or those purporting to be yours. -

HOLB reserves the right to request further information should the need arise. -
Password Changes and Account Security
HOLB may, from time to time, require you to change your password. It is your responsibility to follow the instructions and maintain the confidentiality of your username and password. -
Account Deactivation
HOLB reserves the right to deactivate your account if there is an infringement of these terms and conditions. -
Right to Refuse or Cancel
HOLB, our affiliates, and/or subsidiaries reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, cancel orders, and/or remove or edit content at our sole discretion. HOLB also reserves the right to request confirmation of banking details or identification and to approve purchases at its own discretion.
Entering into a Contract / Placing an Order

Online Registration
To place an order for a product, you must follow the instructions and create an online identity by registering an account with a username and password. It is at your sole discretion whether to disclose your username and password to any third parties. We recommend keeping this information confidential. -
Order Submission
A product order is deemed a request for the product and is subject to availability. It is your responsibility to submit the order correctly and to ensure the order details are accurate. HOLB reserves the right to cancel or reject an order without giving reasons if deemed necessary. -
Order Confirmation
All orders will be confirmed and an acknowledgment of receipt of the order will be issued once the order has been received. Goods are only shipped, and the order processed, once payment has been received. -
Payment Methods
Payment can be made via online payment portal for approved credit cards or through a direct/electronic transfer of funds (EFT).
At the time of placing the order, the transaction details are presented to the bank and authorisation is obtained for the amount of the order.
Note: To protect its own interests and those of its customers, HOLB—together with our third-party financial service providers—scrutinises all transactions to prevent attempted fraud and may refuse a transaction if HOLB is not satisfied with its legitimacy. -
Cancellation
Once payment is successful and the order is confirmed, the order cannot be reversed. Cancellations will be allowed only in terms of our Cancellation and Returns Policy and in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Please note that the delivery/collection fee for cancelled or returned orders is non-refundable. Missed deliveries or collections not completed within the designated timeframe will incur a redelivery fee. -
Conclusion of Contract
The contract is deemed concluded only once the product has been delivered. -
Delivery Timeframes

Payment must be received prior to the order being confirmed.

Avoiding Duplicate Orders
Do not resubmit your order if there are technical or other errors, as it might cause duplication. If uncertain about your order status, please contact our customer services. -
Late Deliveries
HOLB does not accept responsibility for late deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery details. From time to time, HOLB may offer products for sale as part of the service. HOLB reserves the right to change the descriptions, specifications, and prices of products offered without notice at any time. -
Right to Reject or Limit
Our emailing you an order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order; we reserve the right to reject such order or limit quantities under any order at our discretion.

Please read below for more information regarding our warranty terms and conditions:

Home of Living Brands (Pty) Limited (“Home of Living Brands”) warrants to the original purchaser of this product (“the customer”) that this product will be free of defects in quality and workmanship under normal personal, family, or household use within a period of 1 (one) year from the date of purchase (“warranty period”).

Home of Living Brands shall extend the warranty period for an additional 1 (one) year (“extended warranty period”), on condition that the purchaser registers the product on the website within 12 months from the date of purchase. The registration website is: www.homeoflivingbrands.com.

Where the product is defective or not working as intended, the customer must notify the supplier from whom the product was purchased within the warranty or extended warranty period. Any claim under this warranty must be supported by proof of purchase. If no proof of purchase is available, repair and/or service charges may be payable by the customer.

The faulty product must be taken to the supplier’s service centre to exercise the warranty.

The supplier will refund, repair, or exchange the product under this warranty, subject to legislative requirements. The warranty applies only if (a) the customer is not the cause of the product fault, and (b) the product has been used for the intended purpose stated in the product manual. Damage from disaster, misuse, tampering, abuse, or unauthorized modification or repair is excluded.

This warranty extends only to the product provided at the date of purchase and not to expendables attached or installed by the customer. In this regard, any accessories supplied with the product by the supplier may be excluded from this warranty or extended warranty (see Exclusions to Warranty and Extended Warranty).

If the customer requests that the supplier repair the product and the product fails again or does not work properly within 3 (three) months of the repair (and not as a result of misuse, tampering, or modification by or on behalf of the customer), the supplier may replace the product or refund the customer, at the supplier’s discretion.

The customer may be responsible for certain costs if products are returned without the original packaging or if the packaging is damaged. Such costs may be deducted from any refund.

EXCLUSIONS TO WARRANTY AND EXTENDED WARRANTY
Any accessories supplied with the product—including but not limited to bowls, jugs, mills, or carafes made of glass or plastic—are warranted to be free from material and workmanship defects for the duration of the appliance warranty. The accessories should give trouble-free service when used in accordance with the directions in the instruction manual. However, accessories may be damaged if subjected to impact, which is not covered by the warranty. Such impact damage can occur from the outside (e.g., dropping or knocking against a hard surface) or from within (e.g., foreign objects inside the accessory when powered on).
Should you need to replace an accessory during the warranty period, a claim for a free replacement will only be considered if the item (including all shards or broken parts) is returned to the nearest HOLB service centre for examination. If it is determined (at HOLB’s sole discretion) that the damage resulted from impact, the claim will be refused.
Any replacement part provided under clause 4 above will become a chargeable item payable by the customer.
